The CONDOR short module type S is a short pipe made of Polypropylene (PP) with a snaplock joint equipped with a SR wedge seal according to the German standards DIN 4060 and
DIN EN 681-1. The bell and the spigot of the module pipes are machined into the pipe wall providing a solid leaktight connection by snapping the modules together either manually (small pipe dimensions only), under hydraulic force or by winching. The jointed module ends protrude neither outwardly nor inwardly and provide ideal conditions for burstlining. The CONDOR short modules tested and approved by the German Material Test Institute MPA Dortmund allowing a pipe inside pressure of 2.0 bar.
THE BENEFITS OF THE CONDOR SHORT MODULE TYPE S
quick easy installation
pipe connections are leaktight up to 2.0 bar internal pressure
installation out of shafts ID 800 mm possible
joined module ends protrude neither outwardly nor inwardly
no or minimal traffic interruption

Pipe material/colour:
PP pipes in accordance to DIN 8077/78 and DIN EN 13689
OD 110 mm to OD 950 mm, colour: gray (guarantees optimal conditions for camera inspection)
Sealing system:
The CONDOR short module type S has got one or two wedge seals according to DIN 4060 and DIN EN 681-1. The short modules larger than OD 630 mm are equipped with two seals. The SB (Styrene-butadiene) seal is integrated in the spigot end. When joining the spigot and bell, lubricant should be used to prevent twisting of the seal.
Assembling system:
The CONDOR short modules are always delivered with an external groove on the sleeve end. The modules pipes are pulled together either with a hydraulic chain hoist (recommended type Spannfix) or a hydraulic cylinder or by winching with the help of a stopper plate.

The tightness tests and root resistance are carried out by the German Test Institute MPA Dortmund, certificate no. 220004058-1 and 220007715. The short module pipe program is tested according to the standard regulations for gravity sewer pipes DIN 19537, part 2 and DIN EN 1277 of 0.5 bar internat pressure and additional tested for an increased internal pressure of 2.0 bar and a deviation up to 3° (test report no. 220007715) .
